This listing is part of the 'At Home with Patricia Wells' collection of epicurean objects and decorative antiques.

This charming, antique French side table dates from the nineteenth century. Its compact size made it the perfect side table between twin beds in the guestroom named the 'pigeonnier' at Chanteduc, the home of renowned writer Patricia and Walter Wells in Provence. There is a drawer in the front and the chunky front legs have a subtle cabriole form while the back legs are tapered. Note the pretty carving to the apron. No keys required.

Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
