Yellow Provençal cruche w/ lid & rope 9"

A delightful antique cruche from Provence with its original lid and charming yellow drip demi glaze. The lid is fastened with a rope for extra security. Glazed terracotta ewers like these were used for fetching water from the village fountain for domestic use.
