This delightful watercolor landscape is identifiably Provençal. The soft blue of the olive trees contrasts the yellow-green foliage of the lofty poplars in the background. Note the inscription on the top that possibly reads "Hommage a Mournas on automne" followed by the artist's signature. Mournas is a village in the south of France.
