Vintage French leather club chair – chapeau gendarme

This classic vintage club chair is known as a chapeau gendarme which describes the fan-like shape of the back rest. All of the leather is the original. The armrests have beautifully gathered and wrinkled leather.

All of our leather club chairs have their bases replaced by specialist artisans in France. Wear and rich patina is consistent with age and use.
