Vintage Dieulefit tureen & plates w/ blue glaze

This lovely collection of Dieulefit dinnerware dates from the mid-twentieth century. The tureen has dark stylized handles and a decorative flower-shaped knob gracing the lid's top. The tureen's clover form apears to rise like a souffle. The octagonal plates have pretty little pearl-like patterning around the edges. This collection includes one large glazed ceramic tureen and five glazed ceramic plates with the same lovely blue color. There are two large plates, two mid-size plates, and one smaller plate.

The pieces are marked by the atelier "Poterie Milon S." of Dieulefit underneath, indicating their roots to a village in the south of France renowned for its pottery. This collection would be the perfect addition to an existing collection of blue-glazed pottery or as a gift for a special occasion.
