This very tall antique altar candlestick has been transformed into a lamp. The stand is made of very heavy bronze, while the lamp shade is modern. Note the imagery on the base includes a cross, sword, and sunrays and the feet of the base have been crafted to resemble lion's paws. Currently wired for European power.
The generous height of the lamp would make it an ideal reading light. It has pleasing proportions, is beautiful, sturdy, and was repurposed.
