This adorable and precious stand is rather curious to identify. Perhaps it was for holding matchsticks as the outside surface of the holders is textured for lighting a match. It is beautifully made with gilded metal and decorated with turquoise and pearls. A tiny archangel is poised on one foot toes playing the trumpet. Some losses (turquoise and pearl pieces) refer to photos.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
