This spectacular and large scale bowl dates from the early twentieth century. Made from clay with a dark green glaze, from south west France. In French these kinds of bowls are called a 'tian'. This bowl was repaired with custom made staples some time ago - refer to photos.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
