These two 1930's garden gnomes are made from cement and are very weighty. Their hands are positioned at the ready to hold bouquets of cut flowers. Both have a timeworn patina consisting of pastel blues, greens, yellows and reds. They were sourced from the Chartreuse/Grenoble area near the French Alps. There are some losses including on the hands, shoulders and feet. The cement moves a little, but it is reinforced with iron so is stable.
