Travel vanity kit - 19th century

A charming 'necessaire de toilette de voyage' or travel vanity set from the nineteenth century. It gives such wonderful insight into the way people travelled at the time. There is a wooden container, covered in fabric with two brushes and a hand mirror. Made from embellished silver plate with the initials M.L.G.
