A rare 19^th century French table a volet with turned legs. This pine table can comfortably accommodate ten seats and was most likely used in a bastide, a large family farmhouse. With two leaves that can fold down a table a volet translates in english to a shutter table.

Suitable for both contemporary and traditional interiors, this rare piece is evocative of a French country estate.
