Stunning Provençal cruche w/ pale yellow glaze - large 11½"

Dating from the start of the twentieth century, this beautiful, large Provençal cruche features a pale yellow glaze and original lid. Glazed terracotta ewers like these were used for fetching water from the village fountain for domestic use.
