Small honey pot - yellow w/ brown speckles 4¼"

This charming little pot was originally used for storing honey and jam with a fabric lid fastened around the lip. It has pale yellow glaze with pretty brown speckles. It dates from the late nineteenth-century and is from Haute Provence. A lovely piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery.
