This charming petit French cutting board dates from the early twentieth century and is carved from a single piece of beechwood. Note the slight curve to the peaked shoulders and flared handle. Beechwood is nice and weighty so this can be used for cooking, or as a cheese platter or for serving charcuterie at a small gathering.
