Small antique honey pot w/ yellow glaze & green splashes 4¼"

This charming honey / jam pot dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. It was handmade from terracotta and finished with yellow ocher glaze and some green splashes - typical of pottery from south west France.

A lovely piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery. If using as a vase, as the outside of the pot is unglazed, we recommend a watertight container be put inside as condensation can form on the outside of the pot.
