This charming 19th-century Italian giltwood mirror features its original gilding, showcasing intricate carvings and elegant scrollwork in the Louis XV style. While the gilding is original, the mirror itself is a later replacement. Despite this, the piece remains in excellent condition. Its ornate design and detailed craftsmanship make it a beautiful and timeless addition to any space. It is likely from Venice.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
