This silver plated ice bucket is in the shape of an artichoke. The lid opens on a hinge and it is lined with white plastic. Dating to the 1970’s this ice bucket has a maker’s mark reading Freddotherm by Turnwald underneath.

In many countries the artichoke symbolizes peace, in others it is a character metaphor - there is a tender heart to be found inside.
