An extremely rare set of twelve elegant footed egg cups from the nineteenth century (quite possibly earlier). Evocative of earthenware made by Mousiters, this stunning hand painted set is initialed by the artisan under each cup. This set has been paired with a tray from the same period - note the stunning shape, impressive size and lovely twisted handles. Wear and losses as expected from a well-used household item such as this.
