A hand-painted terracotta statuette of Joseph with a gilded tole crown holding baby Jesus in one hand. Both are holding tole and paper flower decorations, and Joseph is clothes in a gilded robe with red accents. The figure stands atop light-blue sculpted clouds and a decorated gilt, forest green, red, and royal blue base. This figure make wonderful addition to seasonal crèche as nativity scene decoration and as a gift at Christmas. Note time-worn nature of paint as seen in photos especially at the base.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
