A fabulous timeworn yellow copper watering can from the late nineteenth century. This is from the Rhône Valley and was originally used by winemakers and vegetable crop growers.
It is no longer watertight and bears many dents, holes and a weathered patina, adding to the fabulous character of the piece. A lovely piece to display with a collection of antique French watering cans.
Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
