Rectangular antique platter w/ green glaze - Dieulefit 11" x 8¾"

Dating from the late-nineteenth century, this lovely rectangular platter is perfect for serving aperitifs. Glazed with emerald green, it has dark a brown border and scrolled handles on either end. Made in Dieulefit, unsigned.

Known for its high-quality faience, Dieulefit ceramics are traditionally glazed in vibrant green or yellow ochre, often accented with a dark brown border.
