Rare Antique French celadon green glaze biot jar - 37"

This lovely Biot jar dates from the late eighteenth century. It has a timeworn patina with a very rare green glaze at the top. This will add a Mediterranean touch to any garden or interior space. Biot jars were originally used for storing olives and olive oil and are typically Mediterranean. It is eighteenth century due to its upright nature as opposed to a more rotund shape.
