A pretty pink and violet cast glass vase signed Degue from the 1920s / 1930s decorated with chrysanthemums.
Among the great signatures of glass artists (Daum, Muller, Noverdy, Negra, Schneider, Maynadier, etc.) who remain benchmarks for the fine quality of their 1930s and Art Deco-style productions, Degue is a signature that is found on glassware for glass pendant lighting fixtures and vases.
David Gueron first created the Compiègne crystal works in the early 1920s, before specializing in luxury glassware. The Founder and owner of the company Verrerie d'Art Degué in Paris (1926-1939), David Gueron signed his productions 'Degue'. He settled in Paris (from Turkey) in 1926, with a factory on Boulevard Malesherbes as well as a boutique at 41 avenue de Paris in the 12th arrondissement.
