Dating from the late 1960s, this stunning pair of Quimper candlesticks each have three arms and are beautifully handmade and painted. 

Quimper pottery, originating from the town of Quimper in Brittany, France, boasts a rich heritage dating back to the late 17th century. It is renowned for its hand-painted designs, which often feature distinctive Breton motifs, such as peasant figures, floral patterns, and elements from the coastal and rural landscape of Brittany. This style of faience pottery became particularly popular by the 19th century, characterized by its colorful and intricate decorations applied by local artisans.
