Pair of mounted ammonite fossils 15"

A superb pair of ammonite fossils. They have recently been mounted on iron stands making a striking display. These will add a coastal accent to any interior and are fascinating to admire. Ammonites are an extinct group of marine mollusk animals in the subclass Ammonoidea of the class Cephalopoda. They are closely related to modern cephalopods such as squids and octopuses.
