Pair of extra-large 19th-century painted floral panels - 86¼" x 43¼"

An extraordinary pair of huge painted decorative panels from the nineteenth century. Salvaged from a French chateau, they were originally integrated with molded boiserie, fixed into the walls. There is some wear as seen in photos as well as some discoloration suggesting that they were close to a fireplace. The rose garlands and central bouquet are exquisite and will bring a touch of the French jardin indoors.
