Pair of 1950’s French club chairs – small chapeau gendarme

This fine pair of vintage French club chairs date to the 1950’s. They have a chapeau gendarme back and curved armrests with square corners. The backs are beautifully studded and the timber legs are square with a slight splay at the back. These chairs retain all of their original leather which is beautifully aged and worn.

All of our leather club chairs have their bases replaced by specialist artisans in France. Wear and rich patina is consistent with age and use.
