Painted mirror - Rocaille 32¼" x 25¼"

This pretty Rocaille-style mirror dates from the nineteenth century. Lovely gold, gray and white tones in the frame include a patina that has recently been applied. This mirror retains the original mercury glass which is clear enough to use in a bathroom. 

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
