This exceptional "entre deux" trumeau mirror dates from the 18th century, epitomizing the neoclassical elegance of the Louis XVI period. The piece features a trumeau mirror with its glass recently replaced, surrounded by a beautifully carved giltwood frame. At the top, an intricately carved urn with cascading garlands takes center stage, a hallmark of Louis XVI decor, symbolizing classic French refinement. The gold leaf and original patina further accentuate the craftsmanship and history of this unique decorative piece.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
