Napoleon III Liqueur cabinet

A remarkable repository from the nineteenth century. This is a splendid liquer cabinet, custom made to hold four particular wine carafes and matching glasses (set included). Made of dark ebonised wood and inlaid with mother-of-pearl and marquetry to form a  decorative pattern. Note that the box is rather stiff to open and must be handled carefully.
