Mottled turquoise ceramic fruit bowl w/ handles - signed Idlas 10¼"

Dating from the 1960s, this lovely ceramic fruit bowl has a superb turquoise glaze and two little handles. Relatively heavy. From Vallauris, signed Idlas (three brothers Max, Claude and Marcel were ceramists who all signed their work IDLAS). Vallauris is a coastal town that has been known for ceramics since the nineteenth-century and more recently thanks to Picasso and Picault.
