Dating from the eighteenth century, a Louis XV-period three-drawer oak commode with a lovely dual-tone patina from a chateau in the center of France. The top features a darker natural oak patina, while the three drawers below feature a bleached oak patina. The bronze drop handles feature scrolling acanthus leaves. The keyholes also feature lovely bronze decorations. Note the pretty scalloped apron which carries over to the sides as well. The drawers are easy to open. A lovely chest of drawers for a bedroom or storage piece in a dining or living room. No keys.
