Late 18th century Provençal water jug

A large green and yellow glazed cruche d'eau (water pitcher) from Provence. Dating to the late 18^th century, this rare jug has beautiful twisted handles and a pattern made with the potter's finger tips resembling a chain pattern. Wear and condition consistent with age.
