Large Willy Guhl elephant ear planter or handkerchief planter 35½"

A very large vintage Willy Guhl 'mouchoir' or elephant ear planter from the mid-twentieth century. This is the largest size that these stunning planters were made. Guhl was a pioneer of modern industrial design in Switzerland. Original planters by Willy Guhl are known to be made with asbestos - therefore we advise that they are displayed outside or in a well-ventilated room. The patina mustn't be modified.
