Paul Ledoux (1884 - 1960) was a distinguished French painter and engraver known for his portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. Born on November 18, 1884, near Strasbourg, Ledoux studied under the renowned painter Fernand Cormon (1845-1924) in Paris. His artistic career was marked by his ability to capture the serene landscapes of Alsace, where he spent much of his life. Ledoux's works are celebrated for their meticulous detail and the harmonious interplay of light and shadow.
