Large antique zinc watering can w/ copper & brass accents

Dating from the end of the nineteenth or early twentieth century a large zinc watering can with beautiful copper accents and brass cap at the center of the rain head. The brass cap was made to screw off and on to hold fertilizer to mix in while watering. Recommended for decorative use.

Note plaque that is next to opening beneath the handle with details of the maker "Thureau" out of Paris. A charming piece for a collector of antique French watering cans! Note a few minor dents to the copper rain head consistent with age and use.
