Large antique tian bowl - brown 21¾"

A large 'tian' bowl from the late nineteenth / early twentieth-century. Terracotta with brown glaze - note the metallic, iridescent effect in the glaze. Originally used for washing vegetables, this is a classic piece of French pottery that will complement a collection. It can be decorated with large bouquets of dried flowers and fresh garden clippings.
