Large antique French urn with lions head handles and rippled edge

This stunning cast iron garden urn dates to circa 1840. The original colour was a very dark green / black. The pretty rippled edge makes this a unique urn and there are two lion’s heads with handles decorated with acanthus leaves. Patina and condition consistent with age and use.
