Large antique French clock - cast iron 26½"

A superb French clock face from the late nineteenth/early twentieth century. Clocks like these were originally displayed outdoors on the facades of schools, train stations and factories. The frame is cast iron and the hands move nicely. This could be modified to function if a motor was installed by a horologist.
