Biography of Arthur Litt:

Arthur Litt, born in 1905 in Mulhouse, France, made significant contributions to textile design. Following his studies at the École de la Société Industrielle de Mulhouse, Litt established the Atelier Arthur Litt in Paris in 1929. His work, marked by floral, geometric, and abstract motifs, played a crucial role in modern textile and fabric design from the 1930s through World War II. Litt's designs are highly regarded and held in prestigious collections such as the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University.
