"I cook with copper because I love using things that will outlast me!" Patricia exclaimed. After finishing each book, she would treat herself to a special item. She discovered a sizable rectangular copper daubière at the famous Dehillerin cookware store in Paris, the largest she had ever seen. To her joy, it appeared under her Christmas tree that December.
This magnificent daubière, known for its hammered copper, exquisite rivets, and brass handles, was used on Mondays to make Soupe au Pistou in her cooking classes.
