An extraordinary marble-top buffet dating from the eighteenth century, France. Its lovely original marble top is a stunning type of dark green marble native to Lyon. The wood components are likely mountain pine and feature traces of its original painted patina. The pretty carved panel-front cabinet doors open to reveal a single solid wood shelf inside that is removable. A terrific storage piece for a dining room or in a kitchen with its practical marble top ideal for making pastries. Large key included to open right-hand door and be able to unlatch the left door. Note photos for condition of marble top showing light wear.
