Extra-large Italian amphora w/ yellow ocher glaze 41"

This extraordinarily rare terracotta amphora dates from the nineteenth century and is from Italy. The top has lovely yellow ocher glaze and there is a spout on side at bottom. The handles at the top are like arms resting on the hips of the pot. The silhouette is stunning, as it tapers dramatically at the base. Beautifully timeworn, this will be the focal point of any garden or interior space, adding Mediterranean flair.
