This elegant early 20th-century ceramic pitcher has a smooth, bulbous shape that gently tapers toward the neck, with a wide mouth and slightly flared spout for easy pouring. The deep green glaze has a glossy finish, with subtle variations that add depth and an organic feel. The handle is wide and gracefully curved for a sturdy, comfortable grip. Stamped near the handle is the maker's mark from Pottery Ravel in Aubagne. This older mark confirms the pitcher’s provenance and authenticity, as Pottery Ravel, founded in 1837, is one of the oldest and most respected pottery manufacturers in southern France.

Today, this pitcher can serve multiple purposes. It makes a beautiful decorative piece for a kitchen, dining table, or display shelf, adding vintage charm to any setting. Its sturdy design and wide spout make it ideal for serving water, wine, or other beverages. Alternatively, it can be repurposed as a vase for fresh or dried flowers, blending timeless design with natural beauty.
