Early 19th Copper Watering Can

SKU: 19629

US$688
This late 19th-century French copper watering can features a superb verdigris patina that enhances its vintage appeal. The cylindrical body is fitted with an original wooden handle for ease of pouring. The spout, with its distinctive angled shape, adds character to its utilitarian design. The aged surface, with its blue-green patina, brings an authentic rustic charm. Likely originating from Languedoc, it was probably used to pour bouillie bordelaise (Bordeaux mixture) to prevent vine disease. This piece would make a striking decorative accent in a garden or interior space, offering both historical value and aesthetic appeal.
