Collection of vintage ceramic white onion sculptures in antique glass jar

This wonderful collection of white onion sculptures date from the 1960s / 1970s. Originally they were probably threaded together with rope and displayed hanging from a hook in a kitchen. The collection comes with the large blown glass lidded jar from the late nineteenth century that would have originally been used in an épicerie for displaying things such as candy and other tempting treats. A wonderfully decorative piece for both contemporary and classic kitchens and interiors.
