Antqiue French Dieulefit tureen - black

This very rare elegant mid-twentieth century Moustier-style midnight black-blue glazed Dieulefit tureen has a slight iridescent nature in the light. With boule feet, ear handles and pointed handle on top, this would be a handsome addition to any collection or as a stand-piece alone bound to charm. Made in the mid-twentieth century, it is was made in Dieulefit, a commune in the Drôme department in southeastern France celebrated for its ceramics
