Antique purple tipped asparagus cradle w/ artichoke decor 9" x 14½"

This French Barbotine asparagus cradle, has a brilliant turquoise blue interior with white and purple asparagus stalks, and an ornate artichoke foliage decor in green, orange, and red on its rim. It dates from the early twentieth century, and would make a perfect serving platter. It is initialed on the back. It was sourced from a private collection that was held for over fifty years.
