Dating from the late nineteenth century, this unusual water 'orjol' has splashes of green and brown glaze over pale yellow. Note the handle has been repaired top and bottom where it joins the pot. A lovely piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery. Most likely from the Var region.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
