Antique French trumeau mirror - gold 47¼" x 26½"

A lovely Louis XVI-style trumeau mirror from the nineteenth century. It retains the original glass and has a pretty painted stucco frame. Note some wear and losses to the frame. There is a romantic style painting integrated into the top.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
